Many over the counter natural products (pills, capsules, essences etc.) are forms of complimentary and alternative medicine. These may play an important role in the prevention and treatment of many diseases when utilized properly and gradually integrated in mainstream medical practice.
But it is not appropriate to say that all natural products sold everywhere (internet, drugstores) are safe and healthy. These may contain natural compound like nicotine, opium, lead, mercury or arsenic which is definitely not safe.
It is still best to consult your doctor before you take a move that might affect your health
