Please give us a short summary of your website?

Discover the colourful world of WildfishCompany Soaps. We make a range of beautiful handmade soaps from the deliciously fragranted everyday loafs and bars, to the novelty and specialised picture soaps. None of our products are tested on animals, but all our products have been tried and loved by friends and family.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

A need to share with others the beauty of these products/

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

Jan 2008, Rangoli Restaurant

How did you decide on a name for your website?

I wanted something unique and catchy, and many days were spent experimenting with name and finding if the domain name existed.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

The soaps can be made to order, and come in many different colours and fragrances. The exquisite soaps are synonymous with quality.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To build up a national and international clientele

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

It is too early to comment!

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

More emphasis on advertising on Google and other search engines

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Of course, as I would guage the ramp up in demand against current employment levels.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Host providers not providing correct information and security of the host provider.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Changing all .net framework 3.5 to framework 2.0, as visual Studio 2008 does allow for backward compatible AJAX

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

2 days, but otherwise indefinitely.
