THE GREEN MARKET champions the cause of sustainability. It is the place where business and environmental concerns converge. It offers one of the Web's largest collections of sustainable tools, information and resources as well as original articles on sustainable themes.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
This site was lauched to encourage sustainable investment. I wanted to share profit oriented information to help investors see the merit of investing in green.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
Small Business Consulting (SBC) business site for my consulting business.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
THE GREEN MARKET is a name that best describes both environmental concern (Green) and free enterprise (Market).
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
It combines both business and the environment and is geared towards small business or the eco-entrepreneur.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
My goal is to disseminate the wisdom of sustainable enterprise.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
I contriubte no more than 2 hours a day and it has provided significant exposure.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would advertise more actively instead of relying solely on organic content.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Most certainly, I also work with a team who could be of assistance.
