Organic pet beds, organic pet food and herbal & holeopathic remedies for common pet ailments. Organic treats, toys and accessories for your furry green friends.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
Encourage people to make green changes in their lifestyle by making shopping for natural, organic products easy & doable. Offer easy, economical green solutions to everyday challenges.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
January 2008, I launched my first website ARTBEAT GALLERY, which is a large art site. Animal art has its' very own gallery at www.artbeat.name/art/AnimalArt
How did you decide on a name for your website?
To decide on a name, I used keyword research, google trends and the principles of search engine optimization.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
My green articles , tips and guides to a greener life.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
Keep for promoting green social change.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
There has been no monetary success but I have been very happy with how I have been able to generate traffic through SEO techniques, article writing and blogging.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
Super Flash Templates, article writeers, link submitters, dedicated server, more computer, staff, hundreds of subdomains. A vacation built in for the admin (me).
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
So much more time than I had originally thought; I sometimes get a bit of a headache from working at my computer for long days. Other than that, it's all good1

How has running your website differed from your expectations?
More interesting and way more exciting. I thought it would be dreary, spending endless hours in front of my computer. I am an artist in 'real life' so I thought there would not be enough creative energy needed to keep me from being bored. Au contraire; I have never had so much satisfaction creating anything as much as the websites that I built myself.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
1 year since I launched this site and I absolutely love it so I do not anticipate 'not enjoying it anymore' ever. In my lifetime, the need to try to green up our lives will not be finished.
